The Centre for Culture in Lublin is a municipal cultural institution. The aims of its activity are stimulation of open artistic and educational initiatives on various levels, as well as culture promotion.
The Centre's main artistic objectives are preparation and presentation of artistic projects, workshops' organization: examining and developing modes of artistic expression, providing conditions and giving possibilities for integration of authors and different culture circles.
The Centre’s major educational and culture promotion objectives are the preparation of various forms of cultural education, including workshops for people interested in learning about the artistic creational process. Additionally, the Centre promotes the work of amateur artists, organizes performances, concerts, exhibitions, projections and meetings. Its other activities encompass the organization of reviews, festivals and conferences using various media, artistic management, cooperation and exchanges between the Centre and other institutions in the country and abroad, as well as publishing activity.
The Centre for Culture in Lublin values itself as an open and dynamic institution. It carries out a variety of international recurrent events and projects.
The Centre for Culture in Lublin organizes, among others: Central Europe Theatres Festival “Neighbours”, the International Theatre Confrontations Festival, the International Festival of Dance Theatres, the Jagiellonian Fair, the Night of Culture.
